“Sully” – Sep 11th

Join the Boston Sunday Night Film Club this Sunday, Sep 11th at 5:30 for Sully at the AMC Assembly Row 12. Look for Howard wearing a nametag in the theatre lobby about 15 minutes before the film. As always, after the film we will descend on a local establishment for dinner/drinks/discussion. Tom Hanks stars in this portrait of airline pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, which depicts his successful emergency landing of an Airbus A320 on the Hudson River in January 2009. In the aftermath of this unprecedented and heroic feat, the traumatized pilot must endure second-guessing by investigators, the weight of sudden fame, and his own doubts about his actions that fateful day. Note: The host, Howard, will be sitting in Row H.
