Join the Boston Sunday Night Film Club this Sunday, Jan 15th at 4:45p for Silence at the Somerville Theatre. Look for Sean wearing a nametag in the theatre lobby about 15 minutes before the film. As always, after the film we will descend on a local establishment for dinner/drinks/discussion.
SILENCE tells the story of two Christian missionaries who face the ultimate test of faith when they travel to Japan in search of their missing mentor at a time when Christianity was outlawed and their presence forbidden. The 28-year journey to bring Shusaku Endo’s 1966 acclaimed novel to life was undertaken by legendary film director Martin Scorsese.
