Join the Boston Sunday Night Film Club this Sunday, Oct 22nd at 7:30p for IFFBoston Fall Focus – The Taste of Things at the Brattle Theatre. Look for Sean wearing a nametag in the theatre lobby about 15 minutes before the film. As always, after the film we will descend on a local establishment for dinner/drinks/discussion.
Set in France in 1889, the film follows the life of Dodin Bouffant as a chef living with his personal cook and lover Eugenie. They share a long history of gastronomy and love but Eugenie refuses to marry Dodin, so the food lover decides to do something he has never done before: cook for her.
Note: This is a part of the IFFBoston Fall Focus, so you may wish to purchase tickets in advance as some screenings have already sold out.
